12:06 am - And you thought anti-semitism was dead
|
Well maybe you didn't, but I did. But tonight, as my dad was flipping through the channels he came across one on channel ten, public access. Father O'Connor. Hardcore anti-semitist. We missed half of it, and my dad fell asleep through the other half, same old rant, but it was the first time I'd heard it. And let me tell you, it was hillariious. Like an Am. Civ. lesson, only everthing was the result of Jews and our shadow government. First you should no that Ashkanazi Jews aren't really jews, we're gentiles with jewish names. Then you should know that we're all socialists and marxists and zionists, all of those terms will be used interchangably throughout the rest of his sermon. According to him. 2international bankers, Rothschild and Warberg own everything, including the Federal Reserve, and have set up the income tax to pay the interest on the national debt so that they can get all the money in the world, so that the Anti-Christ can come. Oh yeah I forgot the most important part. All of us Jews are Agents of the Anti-Christ. Also, Ashcanazis are atheists. And we're the reason that we attacked Russia during the bolshevic revolution, which we caused. We owned FDR and Churchill, who engineered the attack on the Lusitainia to get us into WWI. There is of course a shadow government. And the UN is it. So was the league of nations, but a few brave senators said they wouldn't join, so the Jews punished America with the Great Depression, which of course gave us the chance to take over the Democratic party, as in buy it, and put in our man, F.D.R. To betray our soldiers at Pearl Harbor and get us into WWII, and then leave them to die on the Bataan penninsula so we could support the Russians. Oh and we killed 60 million catholics in russia. FDR was also a 33rd level mason and was taking orders from the masons, who are all Jews mind you. and owned by jews. The federal reserve is the worlds largest independently owned bank and it controls foriegn policy. Oh theres just so much here to talk about. He spoke for 3 or more straight hours, and that was just from Taft to the present. The dude is Pro Limbaugh, pro-Hitler though in an I'm an American so I'm not Pro-Hitler but you can see where he was coming from and how he was justified kind of way, and he is pro-MacArthy like whoa. Makes frequent refferences to his "crucifixtion", and how he was raised from the grave to be "crucified again" among other Christ comparisons. Total nut-job. The whole thing was just hillarious, until I found out that he wasn't just a crazy guy talking to the camera alone in his house behind a pulpit. There was a congregation there. A large one by the sound of it. All listening attentively, and beleiving every word. His speech was hypnotic; if you didn't think too much on your own. So sad. And scary. That exsists today, in America.

Anti-derivatives today. Test Wednesday. Whats the difference between them and integrals? Also, I no longer think these would make a good book. For me especially there just isn't enough substance to it. Not until junior year did I start writing regularly. And even that doesn't follow enough of a story or even a short-story format to be worth reading if you don't know me and live around me and interact with me. Frankly, I feel the same way about all the other diaries too. But I won't dicourage you all from trying. And I'd still like a CD of all of them just for myself. Stick it in my yearbook, and open it decades later. Maybe I'll get back to work on my novella. Or more likely, I'll start work on the Japan article. With certain instances left out for obvious reasons.

12:25 pm - no parents, but still no party
|
Well I guess there was a party of sorts, just not at either of the deserted houses. After walking the dog far more than I care to admit and going to the gym it was time for a vist to Catie. Mainly just hung out until about 7. I played Pat in Chess, we had a stalemate. And in the single slyest move ever made in chess, I managed to pull my king back no less than 3 spaces to keep myself from losing, using the infamous, yawn and pull move. I did it as a joke, but as he didn't notice, and there were only 4 pieces on the board, and everyone was cracking up, I decided to play on. Then I successfully convinced both Sara Beth and Leigh that they were too late and that it was time to go home. Then more dog walking, this time with Sara Beth though. So it was better. If you ever want to totally freak her out, do somthing with dog crap and your shoe, germaphobes love that. Watched Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. It was most non-heinous. I need to buy Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Enter the Dragon, not that they're related, just cool. Then there was just hours and hours of hanging out with people. Except when Kristin and I went to play pool in the back room and everybody turned off the lights and left the basement for all of a minute and a half. It was just an all around good time. And visiting the sick is just one of those good things to do. Then it was back to my Grandma's house for a 1:30 dog walking. And off to bed, there. Then up again for a 6 am dog walking. And back home to go to sleep on my couch listening to Charollette Church sing on the Arts channel.

Emma came up today. We palyed for hours and hours. On the swings, with my toys, running around the house. I love little kids, and especially Emma. She's so cute. Always happy. Big grins and the cutest little speech impediment. Peals of unrestrained unabashed laughter give constant updates of her positon. Pushing her on the swing, her hair blew back and forth in the wind just like in the fairy tails and disney movies. And she gave me her Emma hat that she made at school. So cute. That was about it for the day. Oh, and then later I was opening a cocconut with a sledgehammer and a nail whistling Peter Paul and Mary. I've decided that there was a reason I hadn't had cocconut in years. And that reason is that it tastes nasty. Then later I was bringing stuff in from my car in a plastic trash bag and a huge pair of bolt cutters ate through the plastic and bit into my middle toe. At least if was on my good foot. I thought it was pretty funny at the time, but Kristin assures me that thats horrible. Though Emily thought it was pretty hillarious if I remeber correctly. So decide for yourself. Time for some Hydrogen Peroxide.

So I'm at the gym today, showing my sister what to do, and working out myself when the power goes out. It just goes dark in the room, and 5 minutes later they kick us out. Me she and some guy named some guy because I forget his real name, go out and shoot some hoops. Now I realise that "shoot some hoops" is stupid and a cliche' but to say, "play basketball" woulndn't really be accurate, first because I physically can't, and second because none of us could even if we weren't gimpy, and they weren't. Right, now that I've throughly confused you, lets move on to lunch. Anne and I took Bubba out to lunch at Big Bowl. It was good. And, because they didn't have what Anne ordered, we got 3 meals for the price of two. Which is always nice. And since the rest of my family had our left-overs for dinner, really we had 6 meals for the price of two. Not a bad deal at all. Finally at 6 the power came back on and we went back out to the gym where it took well over twice as long as usual to do everything, but was still fine. Having my incredibly weak little sister around has the effect of making me feel stronger. Yeah I know I'm a bad person. Then there was the Indiana Jones madness. Everybody showed up. Catie, Flo, Kristin, Emily, Jono, Mike, Hobie, Erfan, Monica, other people probably. Raiders of the Lost Arc rules. Also, Kristin's ass pants were hot. And they glowed in the dark. After the movie was Catie and Flo's Dance Party. Where they relived their childhood dance team days by preforming a psedostriptease to a song off Velvet Rope by Janet Jackson. NO offencse to the girls, but the thought of 6th graders doing that is just gross and disturbing. They didn't know what they were doing. They had no idea the implications associated with their movements. It was sexual to the point that now, when they knew what they were doing, Flo was uncomfortable doing it, because I was there. If I ever have a daughter she's doing Krav Magra, and then handgun lessons.

11:08 pm - The College Board may be soulless, but at least they're nice to me
|
First, scores. Biology: 5 Government:5 Statistics: 3 English Lit: 5 English Lang: 5 Plus last year I think that works out to 24 credits for next year. The only one I don't credit for is stat. And I definately don't deserve credit in that. I don't remeber actually learning anything at all, all year.
Well now. On to more important things. Like this. The book is now starting to take form. whoa, come to think of it. This is in the book. Writing about writing the book I'm writing as your reading right now. whoa. Yesterday Bubba came in from Seattle. I should clairify, Bubba is Yiddish for Grandma, and its how we distinguish between the grandmother that lives across the way, and the one that lives across the country. She's really cool. Laughs her way through life. Looks like shes in her mid to late sixites, is 85, and has had cancer a couple of times. Yeah. Awesome woman. I had some people over too. There was some nintendo 64 action, which is fast becoming old school, but for now is just bad. And we just chilled and worked on compiling the book. I really need to stop mentioning it in it especially since what I really mean is we worked on this thing that I am currnetly typing. It's all far too confusing if you follow the full train of thought through the circles its making in my mind. Which brings us to today. Physical therapy kills. Everything in there is designed to bring about as much pain as is physically possible without actually hurting the person you use it on. Kind of fun though. Because its all so hard. Calc is sick. We spend like 10 minutes on a problem because it just takes that long. Then we take a test and the whole class fails. I was ahead of the curve with a 60, and the teacher only got an 89. No joke. If its this hard again next year I'm going to be pissed. Oh, and I'm in town this weekend. Score-a-licious. Party at Catie's house.

11:52 pm - Day of the tape-measure
|
Everyone was playing with a tape-measure today. Everyone. More people were playing with a tape measure today than in the last 8 months combined. When Catie and I went over to chill with Pat from homecoming who had just had his wisdom teeth taken out, he played with a tape measure. When I got to Leigh's, Jono was playing with a tape measure. I played with the tape measure. Erfan played with the tape measure. I'm sure other people played with it who I'm just forgetting. Day of the tape-measure. Also, day of half-washing my car. I say half, because even though I washed it fully, its still got multitudes of these little black seeds that have hardened and dried out of the bird crap on my car. Seriously, it looks like a giant poppe-seed bagel I mean Civic. A giant, poppe-seed civic. I'll have to wash it again tomorrow, hopefully I'll be able to make it plain by then. And waxy. mmmmm. I drool just thinking of it. Anyway, after Catie picked me up and we visited pat. Oh, on that. he's Indian right, but his parnets are like, white and albino. But apparenly, according to Catie, his dad(albino) is Indian. Crazy. I think he's adopted. But I'll ask. Or more likely, forget. anyway, after that, we met Leigh and Erfan at Best Buy and shopped, and I almost bought a subwoofer, until I plugged it in and it sucked major ass. It put out less bass than my regular speakers. Then there was the customary wandering around wal-mart bj's and target with erfan, and of course, slurpee, before Leighs. Got there, met Jono, wathced, "Real Genius" with Val Kilmer, it was pretty good. Pretty funny. Especially good with Erfan's sarcastic comments. And adaptation. Good two. Oh and ordered pizza, "What would you like on your pizza?" "Uh, I'll take, shrimp and crap." "umm, we don't have that" "OK then, just pepperoni and sausage." "Pepperoni and sausage?" "Your right, they'd fight. Better make it just cheese." "OK" "And "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey"" nothing quite like harrasing the pizza lady. except maybe getting a free DVD with it.

11:24 pm - Emma
|
Finally got to go biking, albeit indoors, today. 11 miles in 30 minutes. It's slow, but I'm not supposed to be going too fast just yet. Plus I'm lopsided leg-wise. And I had just finished with weights. But enough of the excuses. Drove down to Fredericksburg to see Emma and to a lesser extent Angie and Joe. It was so awesome. She's 3 and adorable. She comes up about mid-thigh on me, which I know for sure because she hugged it every onece in a while. And she was a big fan of running around me so I "couldn't see her, and then darting between my legs. All the while wearing a gigantic grin on her tiny face. We played with her kiddie guitar, and she danced around, bouncing up and down, her eyes lit up under a mop of curly brown hair. And very courteous and kind. Not to mention intelligent. She's already memorised a few books and pretends to read them. The whole family went out to dinner together. She was really good. The food was pretty good. I had something with veal in it. Solely because I used to be vegan. Then emma and I held hands as we walked down the street and crossed it and all that and I put her in her carseat. Little kids are just so much fun. Especially ones taht are related to you. Speaking of which, Angie is pregnant again. Thats pretty cool. And Joe showed me a gread movie clip full of cats doing stupid things, that I laughed at forever. But then, he was like, type A blood people can't get type O Blood. They can get typed AB but not O. And I was like, no, you are wrong. Very wrong. But he wouldn't back down, so I said lets put 26 dollars, or the entire contents of my wallet on it, he ovf course wouldn't, but still wouldn't admit he was wrong. Then I got Angie on my side. We explained the bio-chemistry of it. And he was still obstinate. Then I looked it up online from multiple credible sources, and still, no belief. Or really I should say, the stubborn asshole wouldn't admit he was wrong. Weird dreams over the past week or so. Nice transition right. Anyway, in it, I'm playing kind of a maze or puzzle game. Like I'm in a maze and I have to do certain things to advance and get through, and I know its just a game, and there are questions and tasks that have definate answers in the real world too, and I'll ask them to myself, and I'll then answer, and sometimes I get it wrong. I also have to work through the problems, and sometimes I still get it wrong. But I know the answer, because when I eventually get it, the person who tells me I'm right, is me. It's like one part of my brain is playing against the other. Its fun. But a little wierd. Oh, and I'm going to Ocean City for my sisters dance competiton next week. I'm overjoyed with sarcasm. My parents are going to some wedding. And I'm taxi. I mean, I know I've got to go, and i'm not complaining about it to them or anything, but it sucks some serious ass. If I want I can bring another person along assuming we can get another room. So if you're interested just tell me. night.

1:22 am - and the rocket's red glare...
|
Lake Fairfax had a pretty freaking nice fire works display. It was definately walking nearly a mile around the grounds to find Catie, Monica, and Becca. And Mike and Eric, from TJ, of "I thirst for cougar head," fame, joined us a little later. I taught Monica how to play chess; gave Catie a refresher. Monica found $20 bucks and treated us all to gargantuan slurpees. Got catcalled by a group of girls in an SUV while Mike, Eric and I, walked to his car. Thats always a plus. Doesn't come close to Catie and Monica's record though. 3 people in less than a minute. Wow. What can I say, they're hotties. And later on that night I used the term "Barr bodies" in a sentence. I'm gonna miss the girls on their vacation. But they're going to miss, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, which will be playing at my house sometime this week. The only question is when. Totally.

Slipped forward on some unforseen mun and almost wet myself. Everything but that was good. And I did my clothes shopping for the next 4 summers today. 11:42 pm - Summer Orientation
|
JMU summer orientation starts at 8 am at JMU. Thus, I was up at the unG-dly hour of 4:15 in the am to shower shave and look respectable for my JAC photo. Drove down, showed up. All the Orientation Program Assistants hence forth reffered to as OPA's, were ridiculoulsy happy. And ridiculous really is the best way to describe that. No one has the right to be that cheerful, that early in the morning. Then there was the equivalent of a pep rally, which kind of put me off the school, but woke me up really good, and was, in retrospect, a good idea. After we had all woken up a bit, we met with our OPA's on the quad. I had Deveeda Watkins, who was cool and a senior and a bio major. She just took us throught basic bs about the school, and pointed us in the direction of our program. Anyway, to make a long story short the food was great and my class schedule is slightly less so. It is also, here: Calculus 235 from 8:00-8:50 Monday and Friday, and from 8:00-9:15 Tuesday and Thursday(oh yes, that sucks about as hard as is possible) Gened Philosophy Critical Thinking 120 from 9:30-10:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays Biology 114 Lab From 12:30-3:20 on Thursdays Biology 114 Lecture From 1:25-2:15 Monday Wednesday and Friday Gened Music in Culture 200 From 5:00-6:15 on Monday and Wednesday
That schedule could definately be better. On the plus side. My two hard classes, Bio and Calc, are ones that I've had before. On the down side, I've got to be at Calc at 8am 4 days a week. But on the plus side, on Tuesday I'm out of class for the day at 10:45am. and My Wednesday and Friday load is pretty freaking light. I also get to sleep in on Wednesday. So Tuesday is going to be my big party night. wait... Probably just as well, if not better. I need a 3.8 and volunteer work and research work and hight mcats for a really good shot at med school. The min GPA is a 3.4 something. So pretty much, if I'm not on the Dean's list every semester I'm fucked. But if I'm on the President's list every semester I'm a shoe-in, kind of. o no big deal right. I'll just get straight A's all through college.
Also, the leg story works realy well. And there were more good looking women on that one campus than I have ever seen in any one place before. It's like a prerequisite for acceptance. I'm looking forward to the next 4 years.

6:19 pm - Day of the three parties
|
Yes thats right, three parties in one day. All overlapping I might add. This being saturday I woke up around 11, and I only did this because I had an interview at Starbucks at 12. So I went to my interview and i passed that. I was all, I'm an EMT, Fireman, Eagle Scout, and he was all, come in Monday at 1:30 for "First Impressions," whatever the hell that is. Went next door to Barnes and Noble, bought Catie a Jew Bible, known properly as the Tanakh, which in Hebrew is an acronym for Torah, Nevim, and Ketuvim. It's 1600-some pages of small type. That should keep her busy for awhile. Then to take my sister to Fair Oaks with one of her friends, then immediately back to Jen's Party. Jen's Party was awesome cool. We all just chilled on her deck and talked about stuff and ate stuff and drank stuff and it was good stuff. Stayed there till 430, when I picked up Anne and friend and took them to my Grandma's. Then on to Oslo's going away party. Oslo is a Norweigian foreign exchange student, who's real last name is too hard to pronounce and who's real first name is boring. Hence, Oslo. His thing started at 4 went till midnight. I went from 5 til about 730. It was cool. But he was the only person there I knew, and then there was the whole thing where all the other foriegn exchange people kept speaking in Spanish, Portugese, Sweedish, Finnish, German, and mangled english. But it was still fun to hang out with them, meet new people before they left. Then I left. Went to Catie's party. It was massive. There isn't really all that much point describing it, becuase odds are, you were there. I think I can sum it up in three independent clauses. Chuckles has gone through some sort of transformation since beach week. The girls I know grow hotter with the weather. And Dance Dance Gimp is difficult yet entertaining. Now off to pick my parents up from Switzerland.

9:17 am - I think my enteries are more cohesive when I write them at 2 am.
|
Lola Rennt. Well originally, Pirates of the Carribean, but that was temporally impossible, so Bend it like Beckam. But luckily Kristin called Rachana to see what other people were doing to see if they wanted to come too or if they were doing something else. They were doing something else. She Monica and Catie were going to hang out at Dreyfuss' house. Kristin calls. Informs me of this. We decide it would be most unfortunate if the 3 of them spent their evening on the doorstep of an empty house. So Lola Rennt. Everyone loved that movie. Except me. I was not a fan. I thought the concept was cool enough. And the cinematography was really great. But I couldn't stand how badly they bothced all the medical stuff. And there was too much coincidence for my tastes. Also not a fan of the split screen scenes, or the poem, or the retention of knowledge from scene to scene. Plus I hate the German language. Although it is hillarious for mocking someone. Best language I've heard for it yet. But phrases like "I love you," just come out sounding horrible and slimy. If cursing in french is like wiping your ass with silk, then professing your love in german is like using said used silk as a neglige. But I digress, because the lineup on the couch that evening was not quite what I disgribed above. Rachana had to step out and go home awfully early, but Jono came and took her place, on the couch that is. Following the movie was just good talking until everyone had to go. And Jono lent me Adaptation. Watched that after everybody left. Its a really good moive. I won't spoil it for you. But if you have seen that movie, who thinks that the photo of merril Streep was photoshopped so it was her head on someone else's body. Because I do. And I sincerely hope I right. Because I used to have so much respect for her. Anyway, today I have one job interview and 3 parties. I still need to get Catie a present, which I will do either at Best Buy or Barnes and Noble when I'm there today. Oh, and I had a very promising interview earlier today at Mulberry Child Care Center. They seemed interested in hiring me just for the summer and full time. That would be excellent. But lets not get our hopes up.
